Felipe Felix Arias is a full-stack LLM engineer at Uber, where he builds GPU training infrastructure, GenAI systems, and LLM fine-tuning pipelines on the ML Training team. He is also the founder of Marovi AI, a research comprehension and translation platform that makes knowledge accessible across languages. Felipe received his M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow in the Parasol Lab studying multi-agent motion planning. He has also conducted research at Stanford with the Hazy Research group (Snorkel / weak supervision). Born in La Paz, Bolivia and raised in the United States, Felipe is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of work, he plays guitar, drums, and dances bachata and salsa.
